AREA '57 is an open 5.5 acre outdoor event facility that is the perfect venue to host car shows, motorcycle rallies, concerts, and special events. AREA '57 is situated within the 26-acre Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theater Complex Situated between the 970-seat Theater and our 300-room Ramada hotel all located on Highway 76 in Branson, Missouri.

Event Guidelines, Regulations and Rental Rates
Availability and Times:
AREA '57 is an outdoor event facility and is available for use from April 1 till November 1 of each season and open from 7am and all events must end at 11pm each day.
It should be remembered that the dates you choose for your event, once locked in, are "rain or shine" and NO rain dates are given.
Use of Buildings and Grounds:
The 700 building located at the entrance of AREA '57 is available to groups who need an indoor room for show registration, meetings or meal functions. We also offer two additional meeting rooms for groups to use at an additional fee. We also rent just the 700 building to groups as well, with out the event grounds, so please make sure when asking for dates you let all involved know if you will be needing building 700 for your event to ensure it is available.
Decorations and Banners:
Affixing decorations, posters or other objects to the wall or windows in building 700 is permitted. We recommend using push pins or scotch tape. Any outside banners placed at AREA 57 will be hung by the group and must be removed at the end of the event.
Smoking and Drugs:
Building 700 is a smoke-free building. Please smoke outdoors and do not throw the butt of the cigarettes on the ground.
Possession or use of illegal drugs anywhere on the property is strictly forbidden.
Vendors:
AREA '57 handles the food and beverage sales exclusively during every event, unless otherwise discussed and exception written into rental contract.
Any vendors you have coming in for your event must provide AREA '57 with a current City of Branson business license (Temporary business permits can be obtained at the Branson City Hall for $7.50 a day).
Rental Equipment:
AREA '57 does not provide party ware, equipment, fixtures.
We have 8, 8 foot tables for use inside the 700 Building and about 80 chairs. Any other tables and chairs need to be brought in by renter. Renters and or caterers need to provide table clothes and dishes and utensils.
AREA '57 does not supply tents of any size, outdoor tables or chairs. You may use your vendor of choice for tents, outdoor tables and chairs.
We ask that when plugging tent stake holes, the vendor packs each hole with sand and finishes with asphalt patch to repair the hole.
If using a tent larger than a 10x10 easy up style tent, you must apply for a tent permit with the City of Branson Fire Department.
Parking:
AREA '57 has a parking lot by the main entrance off of Highway 76 and other parking is available at the Ramada Hotel and the back of the facility behind the 6 story hotel building. We ask that you inform your attendees NOT to park in the Theater parking lot atop the hill from AREA '57.
Security:
Area 57 does not provide onsite or overnight security. If you feel your event needs such please contact AREA '57 management to discuss options ranging from local security companies to off duty police officers. Any fees associated with onsite or overnight security is the sole responsibility of the renter.
Renter's Liability:
The renter is liable to AREA '57 for any damages to or loss of AREA '57 property occurring at or in connection with the function or event. The renter agrees to hold harmless AREA '57 and all related parties from and against all claims, losses, actions, damages, liabilities and expenses (including court cost and reasonable attorney's fees) which it may suffer arising out of the renter's use of the buildings and event grounds, caused wholly or in part by any act or omission of the renter, its agents, concessionaires, employees, or invitees. In case AREA '57 or any of its related parties are made a party to any litigation commenced by or against the renter, its agents, licensees, concessionaires, employees or invitees the renter will indemnify and hold AREA '57 harmless and will pay damages, costs, expenses and reasonable attorney's fees incurred or paid by AREA '57 in connection with such litigation.
Rental of AREA '57 Facilities
Rental Fees:
- AREA '57 (entire facility, event grounds & 700) - $500 per weekend*
- Building 700 only - $150 a day
- Building 600 (when renting AREA '57) - $150 a day
- Drive-In Movie set up - $300 per movie (includes movie rights)
- Sound System, Music and wireless mic - $100 a day

- *If Ramada Hotel is used and room night bookings of:
- 50 rooms on peak night booked - AREA '57 rental is $300 per weekend
- 75 rooms on peak night booked - AREA '57 rental is $200 per weekend
- 100 or more rooms on peak night booked - AREA '57 rental fee waived**
**If rental fee is waived there will be a $50 Maintenance & Clean-up fee for each event
Deposit: 50% of contract on signing. Balance due one month before event.
Other Items:
Signage & banners are the responsibility of the renter.
Music is responsibility of the renter. If renting the AREA '57 sound system we offer a large selection of classic rock, Oldies and Blues music we can play during your event. If you have CD's you would like us to drop in and play we are also open to this. We do not run this as a DJ system. We prefer you make a "mix" CD with artist music your group would like and will let it play as produced.
Trash cans are located at many points at AREA '57. We ask that each group police itself and its attendees and help us keep the facility as clean as you found it.
Restroom building will be open from the start of your event till the end.
Swimming Pool located behind our restroom building is available for your attendees to use, weather permitting.
Vendors are not permitted to camp over night in RV's on property unless otherwise discussed and approved by AREA '57 Management.
Tent camping is NOT allowed at AREA 57 either by attendees or vendors.
Insurance:
All renting parties will show proof of insurance three days before the event and must have AREA 57 named as additional insured. A copy will be given to AREA 57 management and kept on file.
